Official 2014/2015 NFL Discussion Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I love how they make up different rules for each player...but to be fair the Hardy situation may really be different.

the whole thing is getting out of hand. typical political correctness run amuck. so, bud-wiser thinking of pulling there sponsorship. how many domestic violence cases happen from folks drinking to much beer. perhaps the NFL should not have them as a advertiser because beer/ alcohol consumption causes or fuels so much domestic violence. not think it be a wild guess to say 80% of all domestic violence has alcohol involved.

Good point pops. Alcohol kills more people than all illicit drugs... Combined.

I have no problem suspending or banning for convection's. say felony convection's, intervention for mistameaner (sp) NFL regulated, not team. sponcers of the NFL need to just plain stay out of it. again not a players sponcers but NFL sponcers. humm and seems i can not spell sponcer.

spelling is not your strong suit.why should the sponsors stay out? the players sponsors are also nfl sponsors.they have every right to pull their funding if they don't like what they see,or influence the league if they believe they are out of line.this is a political correctness issue. they try to downplay it like it's no big deal but it is.this is about big headed kids who can't control themselves and the problems they cause, like raping women, killing people or beating kids,etc.....whats funny is all the negative media coverage but you can bet your sweet azz none of the networks will pull their coverage of nfl games.it's about money.plain and simple if they lose star players ratings go down, revenue drops.if they keep them players it could be worse though.you could see organized protests which could do a lot of damage to them.

speaking of protests.there is one now to ban phil simms from broadcasting redskins games because he refuses to say their name!LOL broncos fans also have a petition to ban him because they just don't like him. change.org

should alcohol or drug companies be allowed to advertise at all, except in bars and dr.s offices.God damn the pusher man! and there is nothing worse than turning the channel only to hear about some guys dick hard pills or god knows what else!

again, player sponsors by all means pull out. NFL as a whole I do not agree with. players have all kinds of sponsors. And they look bad they pull that and players looses that income. to have all NFL sponsors pulled hurts not just that player but the NFL as a whole. penalize the player, not the league, NFL a business. should microsoft, bowing, dancing with the stars, american gladiator, safe way, wall mart, NHL hocky, 7/11. chevron all pay for there bad employees?

the nfl is regulating discipline in the league.it's not being done independently and it is their employees that are causing problems.like when a bp executive made the wrong decision which led to disaster. He was held responsible and so was the company.this nfl disaster is so bad because so many youth look up to those players and are influenced by their actions.the problem is the league is not stepping up so the advertisers and government officials now have to step in.even the gov of minn has now spoken out against peterson and said he should not play.
