Most sought after Hoplias aimara?

Never seen anything but Amapa and Venezuala offered here in the states.

The specimen I just got is from the Colombian Orinoco. I'm currently working on getting more detailed collection data. She's got quite bold patterning!

Still don't see it being any different then what's currently being imported.

Price tag reflects that. IF it was a new variant it would have been wayyyyyy more $.

Would love to see this crazy pattern though....

I doubt it's any kind of fancy variant, it's just neat to have an aimara collected at a locale other than the "usual" Amapa and VZ.

When she's settled into her 240, I'll post up a slew of pictures!

The Orinoco is one of the longest rivers in South America at 2,140 km. Its drainage basin, sometimes called the Orinoquia, covers 880,000 square kilometres, with 76.3% of it in Venezuela and the remainder in Colombia

You more then likely have a VZ. The most "usual" variant.
