That's exactly why I name them. IF I don't and the girlfriend coins a stupid name it tends to stick, that or they get named after a stupid habbit the ray has. There was a male here known as the rock chucker for banging rocks on the bottom of the tank when hungry.

Yup, wild caught......

He was brought in with Marbles. I expect him to Marble up eventually. The female doesn't have much Marbling yet either, but after having a Marble or 2 over the years I'd like to think I can spot a touch of potential ;) IF I'm wrong and he turns out to be a plain ol Peruvian style Motoro then I'll be the first to admit I done buggered up, cause I'm thinking Marble all the way.

No clue on collection point. Asked but never got a clear answer......

I had a "Mantilla" that looked like the average "Mantilla" EXCEPT that mine was actually a CB Motoro X Hen crossed back with Motoro.

Very cool... I would trust your eye on marbles anyday! Gl. and yea a lot of first gen hybrids seem to be "mantilla" lol thats why I say they are natural hybrids. When I met Richard Ross at K1 I brought it up to him and he said he thinks the exact same thing... Keep us updated on how he turns out!
