My dream fish finally arrived today

Well just feed him for the first time around 5:30..... Ate like a pig!! Blood worms. I want him to get a bit bigger then I'll get some snails and see how he does with them.

I would say get some rams horns now and let them take a good hold while they can

Maybe even some apple snails if you can get them I know I can't by me there an invasive species

One week update..... Eating well. Starting to swim around the tank more. Going to get ghost shrimp and small snails tonight for him. The only thing he's eating right now is blood worms. Tried some shrimp but no intrest in that yet. Here some pics. He's very hard to see as he really blends in well with the gravel.

Had to post these pics. Finally got some with his tail fanned out. He was trying to get at his reflection in the tank glass. He was going nuts lol enjoy.

looks good. still disappointed it wasn't bigger? I think it's great starting them from half an inch or so.

Two week update. Well he was camera shy today. Doing very well. Eating like a pig. I did get snails, and seems most are gone. I do see some out when I get home from work but I guess he ate some. I did see him finally attack and eat a ghost shrimp. That was pretty cool. Here's some more pics..... And yes I'm glad he was smaller now. I am really enjoying watching him grow.
