the answer is in your answer!? See-all those players are receivers.everybody expects dbs to get burned as the recs have the advantage.you want your dbs to throw the recs off their game any way they can, including but not limited to talking trash. If a rec talks trash it's stupid, for he has to stay perfectly focused on what he's doing so trash talking is a distraction for receivers.are we clear?lol

Huh? I'm not the one who needs any clarification.

Very little talk this season about teams, stats, pick, predictions, spreds etc. Too much focus on one guy who IMO I could really care less about one way or the other.

I don't think at this juncture Seattle looks like they will repeat. I like the way the Colts look, Detroit is showin some potential, the Giants are looking better but I'll wate to see if they can beat the Eagles before saying too much. Dallas seems to have leveled off somewhat while Miami has improved this year too. The Saints IDK what's up there the 49'ers don't seem to be on track at the moment and it looks like New England's time has passed.

So who's hot and who's not? Lets talk football. Anyone have any picks for this weekend I posted my picks against the spread. What do the rest of you guys think and why?

Hey i tried last weekend, called a bunch of people out by names too asking about their specifics rooting interests. Seems the only regulars are the pacific NW guys and you and sparty. Hence overload on Seattle, san deigo and oddly enough Arizona

As a lions fan, i dont understand why people keep over ranking them. They haven't even looked as fluid as last year when they were losing a bunch of close games. All those new offensive pieces in the last 2 years and they've already had 2 games with less then 14 points. I think theyre going to struggle come crappy weather time because of their offensive struggles so far. The jim Schwartz magic/spark seems to be missing so far

Seattle has to be the favorites to repeat right now especially as they continue to push toward home field advantage. Denver looks solid. They miss knowshon though. Demarcus ware even alive over there? San deigo looks very solid. I have no faith in Cincinnati. Feuding with their own fans again too. They seem too weak minded and sensitive to the fans and media.

I saw your post after it was too late so I posted picks this week.

I just don't have the same feeling about seattle this yaer as I had last year but hey it's only week six anything can happen. the Bengales are a really good "B" level team IMO they will not be in the SB. San Deigo does look good but I have always regarded them as a yuppie socal team more suted for catered tail gate partys and sushi......lol. Denver is def looking good and I really like the Colts so far. I am disapointed in the Redskins this season with or without RG3 they seem to have the potential but just can't get it together so far. Like said about the Eagles they are good but special teams and defensive TDs will not get you all the way the offance has to be able to win on it's own. It's great that you have the ability to score and is a sign of a well rounded team but I still think the wheels will come off eventually.

The eagles are a joke. I was expecting good things but I'm really disappointed. Chip is known for running and with all those quality RBs they cant get crap going in the first half. Then they go hurry up and it just hurries and gives the ball back to the other team. It really is a mess hidden by all the narrow wins.

Wanna know whos great? The jets! Hahahaha. The d seems alright but good lord it was obvious that eric decker wasn't enough to fix that WR corp. amusing seeing them struggle so badly. Just run the damn ball 79 times a game, it's better then throwing picks

The poor JETS can't get off the ground. IMO the most unwatchable team in the NFL. Long gone are the 11-5 Sack exchange of 85 with Mark Gastineau and Joe Klecko, I enjoyed watching Freeman McNeil running the ball. This team has no redeaming qualities, none. I agree keep it on the ground chew up the clock and try some positive numbers in time of posession. The JETS are a train wreck.

Lol i 100% agree. I was debating with myself on whos go the lowest ceiling, raiders or jets but its hand down the jets. You'd think Rex Ryan wouldn't mind running the rock with his 2 RBs until they throw up. it's his style!

I was having a conversation the other day with some friends and we were discuessing which NFL team (not new teams like the panthers or jags etc but older teams) has the most un-noteworthy all time roster. After some time and throwing some big names back a forth we decided it is the Chargers, other than Dan Fouts who you wouldn't consider an all time great we had vertually nothing.

These are my picks so far. They could change before kickoff as events unfold but as of now this is what I think. The toughest pick for me this week is the Giants at Philly, I keep going back and forth on this one. Giants do better against Philly on the road and Philly has road their special teams which always worrys me in a betting situation. A good special teams is a great tool but you need to win with offence, i just don't know about this one, tough call. Anyway there they are, if I change I'll repost.

HOME teams are in caps.

Thursday night:

Indianapolis -2.5 over HOUSTON 33-28

Sunday:

New England -3.5 over BUFFALO

CINCINNATI -7.5 over Carolina

Denver -8.5 over NY JETS

CLEVELAND -1.5 over Pittsburgh

Jacksonville +6.5 over TENNESSEE

Baltimore -3.5 over TAMPA BAY

Detroit -1.5 over MINNESOTA

Green Bay -3.5 over MIAMI

San Diego -6.5 over OAKLAND

ATLANTA -3.5 over Chicago

ARIZONA -3.5 over Washington

SEATTLE -7.5 over Dallas

NY Giants +2.5 over PHILADELPHIA

Monday night:

San Francisco -3.5 over ST. LOUIS

I agree with most except these 3(here's my picks)

Pittsburgh over CLEVELAND

TENNESSEE over Jacksonville

PHILADELPHIA over NY Giants

The Eagles/Giants game was a hard one as they are both doing pretty good right now. I think Eagles are on a slightly better roll though.
