Inwas picking between the two a :) the flavis was beautiful too.

He does swim around a lot.. Might sacrifice not seeing often for that as he gets spooked easy. Im thinking of keeping the lights off amd covering the main window. Hope it works.. Most ive seen in captivity have bent noses which really affects the aesthetics:(

I'm curious as to what you're referring to when you reference flavicans. Brachyplatystoma flavicans is a junior synonym for several other fish, none of which is valid. I'm just curious what it was you were comparing this too.

Ohhh!!! I get it:))) sorry! I was referring to the capa:/ the capa was labeled as flavi which is a bit understandable on the part of the supplier:)

Even i get confused on the jr synonyms:))

Awesome dourada, keep us updated on him! Ichibantropical has a 5.5" one right now that I am tempted to get but would love to figure out how to keep them from injuring their nose.
