Official 2014/2015 NFL Discussion Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
that game was in 95, that game was 49/26 SF. I shut it off 4th and slugged whisky with my brother. i lived in san jose at the time, my wife was in Santa Cruise at a family (her family) SF super bowl party. We were lambs to the slaughter, pit should should have thanked us for saving them from that.

I think most of them have always been hawks fans, just too ashamed from their past performances to rep the squad.

Way easier of you're a SF fan or Cowboys or Packers fan. Teams with winning traditions IMO. Especially for those timid people who don't like confrontation or conflict.

Plus success draws fans. Seattle is experiencing the fan draw from success that drew you guys to the niners etc. in the first place years ago. It's a process that repeats itself you're witnessing.

In 5 years when the "Browns" win it and people are wearing their gear everywhere Seattle fans will talk about those fans the same way people are talking about Seattle fans now.

I tried saying that last year but they want to hoot and holler how they've been fans through thick and then. That may be the case for the guys here and most are TRUE nfl fan but I've watched SF fans show up out of no where all over the northwest since the goof up that was the singleton era where they first looked like they had potentials again. Then they wanna say they been fans since Montana and young....maybe you were but you sure were quiet during the losing years lol. My criticism isn't directed toward any 49et fan here

Man I can't explain how badly I was clowned in prep school and college for being a fan and wearing seahawks gear.

"I've never even met a seahawks fan before bro"

"those ni#$as suck bro"

"Florida State could beat them boys man"

lol

All true. And honestly I hope the new ones who just see a brand and excitement go away with time but a butt load of new fans are made from the Seattle victory that last into humble years as well. I have a number of Seattle friends who have been fans since a kid and they are great to talk football with. in fact old school hawk fans are great to talk to since they are more humble than some of these new Sherman era led fans.

I would be a complete ass to think that if last year was a niner won ring that we wouldnt have a ton of new fans just the same as Seattle. hopefully we can keep the children hospital donation type rivalry between the two teams going for year to come.

these 12 man jerseys bug me.

See, I dig the 12 for one main reason. Well two. Those things are frakin' expensive and free agency. I don't want to spend that much money on one that will be gone in a year or two.

If I were to get a player though, I'd go Chancellor ... My favorite player growing up was Scott Case, the Free Safety for the Falcons that would level people with big hits and I wanted to play safety (though I was too light to play football). Earl Thomas might be more talented, but dang those hits Kam does are just fun to watch.

PS: Falcons I'd go Roddy White, then try to punk out Sherman at a game with it. Heh.

I am a huge Redskins fan, but did not want to get burned on a jersey so I got a custom one with #23 and my last name on the back, also one with #3 and Hail Hogs on the back. Pricy but we'll worth it.
