Well the salvini I got from petsmart died on me, came home to him stuck the filter intake. so I went to get a replacement after testing my water and see this little gem. Any idea what it is exactly. That's why I posted lol. I'm familiar with the usual mutt flower horns at petsmart but this things looks different to me. Which is why I got it.

To my untrained eye, I just see firemouth fins, convict stripes, convict mouth shape. The confusing element is the colour towards the front, more of a flowerhorn type colouring from trimac genetics and stuff.

Unless someone else chimes in, we're not gonna know until you grow him out; I think it looks promising regardless, cool cool fish :)
