Odoe pikes - beauties - some are very thin. If you want one - ask to see them eat, and get one that eats.
You should also buy either only 1, or a group of 5 or more. I originally got 2, and as soon as one became dominant, it tortured the other until it killed itself.
Also, they aren't particularly fast growing fish: I got mine when it was 3-4" long over 2 years ago, and he's now around 13-14".
Really fun monster to keep - and not wholly impractical for aquariums given their size.
