Damn! I could easily move up to th8 right now cuz all defenses are maxed but I'm holding off so I can max out all barracks and upgrade all troops

Go up then, there's no benefit of holding off for just that. Plus aint it like a 7 day wait?
What troops you have left? Pekka and drags and maybe some spells?

The benefit is that I can find the loot to upgrade everything faster while still at th7 because I'll have the loot bonus for attacking th8,9 and 10. If I up my th now, I'll only get the bonus for 9 and 10. It's just easier in the long run

The difference right now from th7 to 8 isn't significant though.
Thats just my 2 cents. Id go up if defenses were maxed. You'll hit a point where your upgrades cost so much that you'll need cheaper upgrades like barrak and pumps/mines to keep the builders busy. When your upgrades cost 5 mil + and you can only hold 8 mil and 2 builders come free on the same day you'll wish you had a smaller unit to throw that builder on

Max your heroes at TH9 and do the best you can on walls, i highly recommend. Then farm in champ once your infernos and xbows are max. I have like 17/20 TH snipes in my mailbox.
Also, we are not sure if languages gets better loot but Norsk gets pretty good matches.

Thats what I'm doing, heros. All the dark troops are maxed except lava hound.
We do language swaps based on time zones. Not sure that it truly works but it does seem to help when we hit dry spots.
You think i should do lvl 10 walls? I'm 70 in on lvl 9 walls. All resources going into it. Maybe just corner pieces for lvl 10?

BTW, Last we can figure, my brother is in the $1-1.5K range now-a-days.
I've been playing for nearly two years and I'm still working on maxing TH8.
