Hello cichliddave the male is about 22 cm (9 inches) and female is about 12 cm (5 inches).

Good luck growing those fry. I'm excited to see them. I have a similar pair but my male is a really pearly shortbody zz.

Sure but I will have to take some first haha. They dig in the gravel all day long and have been for a few weeks but no action yet.

Not the greatest pic but here is when they were introduced in september. Males head is back up now and females color is back to being darker.

Congrats on the fry asper. The mom looks dwarfed compared to dad lol I know that's how it should be though.
