Yesterday I went to one of my lfs and was hoping to pick up a nice silver or something. They had 3 arowana one silver, one jardini, and one black. I went with the jardini. I asked for it to be fed in the store. It was already is eating Hikari food sticks... in the store that is. I fed it this morning to see if he would eat and he spit it out!?! What the? But anyway he is 8 inches and has a nice gold color. The pics were seconds after being in the tank from an hour car ride so his colors were a bit dull but anyway here he is. Haven't decided on a name yet.

WOW beautiful colors. A jardini like that deserves a killer name.

Thanks guys. I can't wait till he is a monster. I have had a jardini before but I was quick to get rid of him at a small size so I never got to see him as a giant.

Planning on tank mates ? You'll go through the killer stage then once it hits 18-20" it'll calm down loads , by then they've usually seen off anything they don't like and anything that's left surrenders on sight lol :)
