Planning on tank mates ? You'll go through the killer stage then once it hits 18-20" it'll calm down loads , by then they've usually seen off anything they don't like and anything that's left surrenders on sight lol

Killer stage? My Jardini was trying to eat Petricola cats @ 6 inches...I caught him twice with a Petricola in his mouth...Jordy had to hit Jardini with a net to release them...lol

If your tank can handle it you should be ok for now as there's plenty to spread aggression between them , how big dovii and jag ? Watch they don't tag his tail and fins , I've got a dovii in with mine but its smaller no chance of bullying yet lol

Hahaha yeah they do that one of mine ate loafs of stuff , rtc (small one obviously), wolf fish , all sorts of cichlids , barbs

Yeah no worries. It puzzles me how he ate the hikari food sticks in the store but would not eat the same brand at home... maybe he is just shook up. Who knows. I'm just so confused haha.

He will eat them again if especially as he's already used to them , give him a few days may even take as long as a week , but seeing all the others feeding should spark him off
