I will get a divider first thing in the morning. I have been watching the ornate very closely . He ate half a shrimp yesterday and 1 carnivores pellet today. The baby is currently perched on top of the heater right now. I got some feeder gold fish in the tank also.

7 bucks....sounds like the ol' petco "dinosaur bichir" special haha.

Sens are my favorite. THey might not be as flashy or as big as the other polys, but they have more personality and energy than my others put together.

To the OP nice little sen, as others have said you are risking it with the ornate in the same tank

Admit I cringed reading the title of your thread, the words dinosaur and eel should never be used in this forum :)
 
I was thinking of trading my ornate for a smaller one. What do you guys think?

What size tank do you have? I hope the one pictured isn't the only one you have. If you want to keep 2 of them, getting a much smaller ornate would certainly help.
 
That is the only tank I have right now. Can't believe I started off with betas.

Probably do that this weekend

Exactly how big is the tank? 5 or 10 gallons? I'd ditch the pink castle....
Get a bigger tank ASAP too.
