180g 20 clown loach, tankmates?

Hi, looking for some advice on stocking. I have a 6x2x2 with an eheim 2260 and an fx5. Current stock is 20 clown loach to about 8", I am looking to add some tankmates. I was thinking a large cichlid such as hoplarchus psitaccus. I am also considering a giant shoal of something like tiger barb or tetra etc but can't decide.
I am also open to other suggestions.

When I saw that line in his post all I can say "get a shaol of Exodon" hahaha sorry I can't help it, I need to see more ppls interest and keep Exodon over other Large Characin Fishes

Forget the tiger barbs. My CLs over 5" actively hunt down and eat 3" minnows I put in the tank for my larger preds.

I would love an Asian aro but will wait until I upgrade my tank for that.
Flagtail is tempting but maybe a little large for a 180g? Would like some tinfoil barbs but they grow massive and are hard to move on.
I like the look of these exodons will do some reading on them.

exedons are cool, SUPER SLOW GROWING though.

I have a 55 with 12 3 inchers
