I am planning to build a wet/dry over head for my 75 since I will be able to repair it next month. It will be 3 pcs of stacked plastic planter which is 16x8x6" of size with filter floss in the top layer, pot scrubbies in the middle and a submerged ceramic rings for the bottom layer. Is this a sufficient filtration for a slightly overstocked 75 gallon?

very similar to what I have on my 75, except mines not an overhead wet/dry. You should be fine, but that depends on a couple of things. How many GPH is the pump and what is your water change schedule?

I will buy a pump minimum of 2200 l/h, is that okay? I change 40-50% of water every week if I'm busy and 30% twice a week if not

That's a lot of water changing! What are your water parameters reading when you do a water change?

I really don't have a water test right now so I just have to so a water change as much as I can, I don't have to heat it though cuz the tap water and the tank water temp is the same

I have 1 severum, 1 blood parrot and a senegal bichir in my 50g right now and that's where they're going to go. I always make sure that it wont' clog and will do a 1 week test run
