I guess urine is supposdf to be fairly sterile. Urea, salts, ammonia and stuff, is that good enough to sterilize a wound? I dunno.
The romans used to have packs of dogs follow their armies to lick the soldiers wounds after battle.
I have a dog, I have pee. I failed my opportunity to test these ancient remedies. Maybe next time

last thing I want is gill blue's urine anywhere near an open wound
if your cut isn't healed yet, you can still try the urine thing. let us know how that turns out
my brother caught a fish one time at lake havasu that got the hook stuck deep in it's throat. he pulled the line tight and with pliers he tried to loosen the hook which it did but it shot out right into his thumb. it was like 2 in the morning and we weren't gonna take him to no ER. the hook wasn't gonna come out the same way it went in because it was barbed. so we cut the hook and forced it in with pliers to come out another part of his thumb.
once we got the hook out my cousin went with him to the bathroom and my brother did the reach-around from behind my cousin while my cousin pee'd on the wound.
my brother's wound is completely healed so hey,........maybe it does work
That's good to know...I was referring to him finding the photos of the gaping ER worthy wound on my hand.
Well...my dog seems to enjoy eating cat poop and licking his butthole so his germy tongue won't be making contact with any wounds of mine,or any portion of my skin anytime soon.
oh,............well then, still doesn't change the fact I wouldn't use any contents in his bladder for any medical purposes
yea I was gonna say, dogs lick their own unmentionables so I wouldn't let their tongues near an open wound either
unless it's their testicles and anus that contain the healing agents that get on their tongues that is transferred through the licking then it makes it ok I guess
