pups born this morning

Having pups seems to be the next big thing these days. This is awesome news, seems like everyone that has had hystrix pups has had them in phases with some pups up front then more later on in the day. I am excited for you.

Thanks. She still hasn't delivered the others yet. Last night I suspected she was close as she hesitated before eating. She couldn't get enough food tonite.
 
She delivered her last 2 pups a short while ago. Four males and 2 females total.

I'll start with mysis shrimp, frozen blood worms, minced- shrimp, tilapia, scallop, squid. Mostly what the parents eat. I avoid black worms. Will also try NLS 1mm pellets. One of the pups from the first batch was actively blowing in the sand last night, like it was searching for food. The pups are 3-3.5" diameter, and there were no yolk sac remnants. I think they used it all up from being in mom for so long. I can hardly see here they were attached on their bellies on some of them.
