Lucky you Divemaster when ever i bring up predatory fish to my mom she rolls her eyes, my dad is on and off about it and my grandma is the worst she thinks im out of my mind.

I think y'all are missing a VITAL piece of information….. Do YOU take care of the tanks? Or does your husband end up having to ? If so, then I sure don't blame him, if he's not into it.
If you do all the work and upkeep, then I doubt anybody would have a negative word to say about it.

I keep up with the tanks. My husband wouldn't do it for any amount of money. My husband always complains when I buy fish. He even complains when I get them for free. I'm starting to think he don't want me to be happy. I'm getting a tank for the living room because I don't even like to hang out in the living room as much not that there's not a tank in there.

My wife was not interested in a big tank but we agreed if I finished our basement I could set up a big one. When our stingrays had babies she was hooked. The last litter her and the kids where at home watching them be born she called me at work super excited. I also took some pups in for the kids pet day at school and they were the coolest kids in school that day! No one helps with cleaning but they are supportive.

My wife takes an I occasional interest in my fish,it seems that when I'm about to get rid if a fish for whatever reason she's then suddenly attached to it.My son couldn't care less since my tanks have nothing to do with XBox.

Lol my youngest daughter does this. Whenever I get rid of a fish then all of a sudden that is her favorite fish and she is sad to see it go. SMH

My gf is like that too. She shows little to no interest but if I get of something she secretly liked then it's my ass.

Solution... I haven't rehomed a fish in almost 2 years lol.
