Giant Payara Armatus in the Zoo!

The public aquarium in Valencia had some big Hydrolycus sp.. It could be there, although from the view in the picture, it looks like a newer ,more modern aquarium. If I had to bet, I'd say it's in a larger South American city. The woman and the children in the picture have a dark complexion, like they may be from Central or South America. That could also be purely a coincidence. They may be from somewhere else thousands of miles away and could just be tourists at that aquarium. I'll ask some buddies at the public aquarium here in town to see if they know where that picture might have been taken.

Dark complexion does not equal south and central america... just saying plenty white looking folks down there, as there are darker ones. I found that disturbing...

i laughed when i read what he said as well...but watch him be correct in his assumption.
 
OP. how did you find this pic without finding the article stating where it was?
