yeah everything is set up now, and it looks really great she picked up some live rock for the cycling process, just one piece and she already has some little inverts living on or in the rocks.
Its always fun setting up marine aquariums because you can spend just as much time enjoying the aquarium in the start up weeks as you can when you start to add the first few fish, I really need to set one up again sometime.
She actually has a protein skimmer, wave maker and all this cool stuff I think shes really into this being her new project, salinty level is good and stable for now and I told her to check it a few times over the next day or so to see if it fluctuates. She knows how to reduce and increase the level of salinity now so I'm thinking she is all set.
How many weeks of cycling before she could add mollies? did have some water from an established system so I think the cycle should be a fairly easy one.
Lastly am I correct in thinking that you can add inverts before you add fish? I remember watching my dad set up a reef when I was about 13
