Mine was a smaller one though around 8" or so. I honestly would go up to about $275 for me, but thats just me. Not saying I want to pay $275 for one fish, but that's what I'd go to.

He only had one that I knew of and u got it ... Lol no hard feelings lol dabola isn't even top of my list to get was just gonna get it then cause it was pretty cheap for a dabola I thought

I'm so torn over what my next move should be as far as Poly's go. Ansorgii is temping, expensive as it might be. He sent me a pic of that 350$ dabola. It looks beastly even on a bare bottom tank. Bleh. Decisions...

Anyone know much about the lineage of dabola and ansorgii? Are dabola a part of the bichir complex?
 
dabola from what I know isn't yet a confirmed species, but us hobbyists can see clear differences between it and other species such as laps and endlis.

They appear to resemble laps much more closely than they do endlis in terms of their head shape. Any idea where the more green/orange dabolas come from collection point wise?
