Had a 125g with a flowerhorn and denison barbs now custom building my dream 500g asian arowana tank (pictures will come end of the month )

I started 30+ years ago with an old bath tub after my parents remodeled the bathroom. It was on the lawn at our family camp and I keep fish and other aquatic critters in it during the summers. My first glass tank was a 10 gal when I was about 14. Now I have a 200 gal ray tank and 40 breeder with frogs.

Started with a 55 gallon (first real tank). Had as large as a 125. Now I'm back to a 55 gallon in my apartment.

This was all back before the internet really opened peoples eyes to building tanks, DIY, etc. Back then, if you wanted a tank, you had to buy one.

My first project when I buy a house is to build a very large plywood tank with an intergrated plumbing and water change system.

I started in the mid 70s with a 13 gallon (probably a 15g high), one of those new fangled powerfilters, and of course an undergravel filter. My first two fish were Angelfish.

I knew I was one of the Big-Boys when I bought my first Silent-Giant. (still have it, still works!)

Biggest tank I've had is a 100g. (72x18x18)

Currently have a 60 and two 15s.

Currently building fishroom for multiple 180s and maybe a 240 or 300.

Started 38 years ago with a 20 gallon slate bottom, metal framed tank.

Now, we keep 13 tanks ranging from 40 to 410 gallons.
