Hello everyone. I just picked up 4 of the Kelberi from Wes. They are growing out in a 20L for now since they're about 2.5 inches give or take. I chose Kelberi even though I love the blues of the Azuls since I am limited on tank size.
I have a 6x2 foot 225, a standard 180, and a 72x18 inch 150 gallon. I'm into Crenicichla and I have each of these 3 tanks dedicated to a bonded pair of Crenicichla. I currently have Lenticulata, Tapajos II, and a beautiful large pair of crenicichla cincta.
My 225 is set up as a riparium so the water only goes about 24 inches high with the rest open for emerged plants. I'll add a pic. My question is, would adult cichla jump out more than 6 inches if I made this their final home?
Lastly, of my pike species, which would seem the best combo for them?
Other fish I have are 2 Heros Severus atabapo, 6 Geophagus winemilleri, 2 Bahia red tail oscars, and 1 Hoplarchus Psitticas al scattered among these 3 tanks.
Where should the Kelberi go when they grow out and what fish should I sell off?
Thanks all.
