So, basically how long I can keep a RTC with my fish dependsauce on how long I feel comfortable?

And I decided on the ghetto pool pond because using it I can go bigger than I could have doing a plywood build. I would of be able to go about 500 gallona if I build one, as opposed to 1400 gallons using the pool.

As you've been warned that people's experience varies. You have received advices from "do not keep anything remotely swallowable with an RTC" to "it can be fine and often is". YMMV too but it will fall in between, chances are, over the 20-30 year life span of an RTC in captivity.

10" RTC can swallow a 6" Oscar. 1.5' RTC can swallow any Oscar.
