Had to seperate them after seeing this. For some reason, I didn't think fresh water puffers would 'puff' haha!

I take it this was an impulse buy? No knowledge of what you were getting?

...Not quite, 40b with divider for now. And 90g/120g lined up For 1 Fahaka.

'No knowledge'? No. You have 'no knowledge' of my tank setups or intentions, so don't be so quick to jump down my throat.

Back to the point. I separated them right after this (clearly knowing this was not good). There were 20-30 juvenile Fahakas from the tank I bought them from. So I didn't think the 3 would go at it quite like that.

Pounding pellets? What pellets are you feeding them? Most puffers won't look at pellets. Longer term you will need to get them on hardshelled food.

Pellets are fine for a puffers diet, as long as its not exclusively fed on just pellets alone and gets a varied diet...

As for the 3 fahaka's in one tank, i guess it is just a matter of time before aggression levels build and one potentially kills the other 2, although judging by your 2nd post, it seems you plan on returning 2 of the 3, and eventually keeping just one in a 120G tank?

If thats the case, maybe an idea to get rid of the two extras now and just focus on one that you like most?

Wish my fahaka would eat something besides bloodworms lol. Mine was about that size when i got him and is now about 2-3". That was a month ago. Mine was housed with cherry shrimp and ghost shrimp and he didnt bother any of them for a solid 3 weeks. Then my cherry shrimp started dissappearing. Should be a fun little guy(s). Good luck!
