Hi bought this pair 2 days ago, plz id its sex...

Picture 3 is a male.
Picture 4 is female.

You can see how the male has a way more vibrant orange and less spangles on the jaw area.. as well as the female has bars down the side and the male has a metallic coloration

Yip! Females tend to have a darker green color..

Ya just keep the water clean and feed a good diet!
Make sure they have some sort of flat rock or cave to spawn in..

Just watch the aggression levels tho.. The male can be mean during spawn time.

Take the Pleco out. When I used to breed green terrors the Pleco would come and eat the eggs

its a barebottom tank, do i need to add gravel or sand for their spawning... or just a barbottom with a flat rock is enough...?
