Feb 2015, A list of many rare fish!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this is not a basketmouth! Acaronia nassa or Caquetaia spectabilis. Its called chaetobranchus australis, much rarer find...

It's Chaetobranchopsis, they are smaller and shorter than Chaetobranchus. They are filter feeders so they will need very small food and they will need several small feedings a day to stay in good shape.

yes, you're correct! I've consulted Wayne Leibal and Lee Newman, which have both dealt with this fish in the past., and taken some of their advice on keeping them. Thus far they're eating live black worm, and flakes, some are even sifting in the sand a bit.

Got a small 2 acre pond on my property that is absolutely full of Warmouth from 2"-8" long. Pretty neat little monsters.

Far from endangered. Be kind of hard to keep it heated. Yes it's mine. Have a 2 acre and a 3.5 acre.IMAG0007_2.jpg The 3.5 acre is in this pictures background.

You can always install solar powered heaters.

yes, that is an option. but he has big tanks already, and to fight the natural elements, I think it would be better just to keep cold water giants, and not many people do that.

Thanks Wes they arrived packaged well and looking great. Hope to do business again soon.
