Yup, numbers matching. Got the original air cleaner, chrome valve covers oil pan and exhaust manifolds. All that stuff listed above was different from the regular 390 to the S code 390.

Now if I am correct that is the 390 cobra jetbut i thought they only came with a 4 gear? I would give anything to have that car. How in the heck did you get your hands on that car!

390 S code was called "Thunder bird special. Was not a cobra jet. It had higher compression and a more aggressive cam grind. Had a deeper oil pan. It almost looks like ford took one oil pan and the cut another one at the sump area and welded them together and had the nascar exhaust manifolds. Those where the ones ford used to race and flow better then an aftermarket header. Car is pretty much rust free.
