  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You know you can upgrade a 2260 to a 2262 for about $8

I did it to both of mine and the flow difference is insane!

I just swapped out my fx6 for a 2262...very happy with it. Flow is unreal. I was worried that it wouldnt be the same as the fx...wow was i wrong blows it away. My spray bar is on the left side of the tank the flow pushes all debris accross the tank down the far wall and back accross the bottom everything settles right under the spray bar.

Eheim universal 1262 is only 1 diferent part. Just buy this pump and instal it.
Eheim 2060 use Eheim universal 1260 pump
Eheim 2062 use Eheim universal 1262 pump
Simple :D
Jaws7777 Great decision :headbang2 Eheim classis kill every single cannister filter made by other companies.
Flow and intake is insane. +1

How do you upgrade from 2260 to 2262.

If you look at the technical diagrams for the pumps on the 2260 & 2262, you will notice that the only difference in the pump is the intake volute.

It's the only component with a different Eheim part number, so I called Eheim, asked them, and the representative confirmed that if your but a 2260, and change the volute you end up with a 2262 saving a few hundred bucks.

If you want the part numbers I can provide them, I bought them from eBay and they were $8-10 and shipping

They are exactly the same pump except the intake volute.....download the technical manuals from Eheim directly.

Check out the part numbers for every single piece of the pump, there is only 1 difference.

The increased power is due to the increased water requiring more power to push.

Call Eheim yourself...unless you have actually done the research yourself, which I have,I can categorically tell you that this is true.

The part costs $8...
