Hi, there is a guy that wants to sell tapajos red 1 for a good price. Im thinking about it just not sure if its right for me. I have 125 with senegals, chocolate cichlid, leopard bush , bushy nose and some congos. I know congos might become sbacks but what about the other fish?

I was thinking about getting one too but I don't think my marmorata would approve. Pikes are hit or miss to be honest, some play nice, some don't.
If you do get one, make sure to provide plenty of cover and think about upgrading your tank to a bigger one if it gets too territorial.

Tapajos 1 are super nice. I need a red fish!!!

Yes Congo Tetras and bushy nose Plecos can be eaten eventually. A member had his really nice cincta pike choke and die on a small Pleco. Also the pike could try and beat up the leopard bush, chocolate cichlid and Senegal but it's just a hit or miss
Remember these guys can grow 16+ inches so a 125 may get a little cramped for the male when full grown

Yep that was me, it was about a 3" pleco and a 14" or so cincta. It was fine for a few days and then the pike tried to swallow it. the pleco extended its pectoral fins and lodged in the cinta's throat. Snipped the the hard spines in the pectorals but the damage was done. Lost the pike a couple days later. Only big plecos with pikes now.
