+1, I try; closest I could get would be to pick one fish to keep if I could, and that would probably be a convict lol, always entertaining

Convicts are just so much fun, each one has a different temperament, they are hardy, they come in a variety of colors and are brilliantly colored. It is a shame they are underrated because they are so common.

Here is a pic of a female I had, she is one of the prettiest convicts I have yet to see.

She was beaten badly by the large male convict in my avatar after their first spawn, She made a full recovery and then was killed 3 or so years later when a male offspring of hers reached alpha status and paired off with a different female.

Interestingly enough, The male I currently have in that 55g is a offspring of that subsequent coupling, so her lineage lives on!!

Any of the mirror carp I've had. Fast growing, eat anything, er used to people quickly and good looking :)
