I would go through a period, no and then, where a particular fish just won't eat for like a month or two, then one day it would start eating again.

I remember you telling me this the last time i had issues. This time im sticking to only feeding him the pellets i want him to eat....no giving in

Yeah, fasting fish is hard. I had a roomate had a really picky Jack Dempsey he was growing out that lost the taste for pellets and would only eat bloodworms and spirulina infused brine shrimp. It was murder to not feed him, he would go crazy at the front of the tank anytime someone would seemingly make eye contact with the tank. Its like they put on puppy dog eyes and everything. Stay strong brother!

He looks kind of pissed but im not giving him anything but nls and algaemax maybe try tomorrow night

This fish is pissin me off 5 or 6 days and still isnt eating pellets. I offered nls ever day, oo yesterday and got nothing. Last night i gave in and gave him froze blood worms and he went nuts on them. Today he didnt he pellets, tried the blood worms and peas, he at both.

Hiw does a fish just stop eating pellets ?

Any suggestions

I had mine in a decent community tank from approx 4-10". That size difference has taken about 2 years. At about 6" he was moved to a larger tank and grew rapidly to 8". Now he is about 10" and I hope another 2 years and he'll max our above 12". I've never had a problem with him not eating food, but many times all the tank mates will eat a lot more than him. Other days he'll go crazy on food.
