NLS Marine Flakes to Fresh Water Fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Fish meal does not always equate to scraps from processing plants. In the case of NLS their fish meal is made up from whole fish (Herring), and their krill meal is made up from whole krill, caught and flash frozen onboard the ships catching them in the South Antarctic.

NLS is good food. I like what it did with my cichlids coloration which is why I brought up this thread. Better to be safe then sorry I guess.

NLS is probably one of the best foods out there. We recently switched to North Fin to save money by being able to buy it in bulk.and save some big money. It is quite similar to NLS and is made in Canada so we can order it in bulk without the hassle of getting it across the border. When RD tells us something about NLS you can bet it is true he really knows this product.

That's good to know. I've been using omega one and hikari for the last couple years. The guy at the lfs steered me away from wardley and tetra. I'll have to give NLS a look
