I think hes saying he prefers wild, natural fish to crazy genetic mutations. Theres nothing wrong there or with this thread.
Exactly, there are zero reason to make a thread based on his personal likes.

Isn't this a discussion forum? He asked opinions on fancy goldies, wondering, much like myself, what the allure is to their strangeness.

Fancy goldfish can make people happy. They are fat and chubby and love to be loved. They love to eat, they love fresh water and they love their owners. They love to root around like carpet pigs, noosling around in the substrate, looking for this and that, perhaps a small snail they can pulverize and eat. They enjoy the weather, and like a good thunderstorm. They love being colorful or not, depending, and they want to make you happy as a fish keeper. They strut and prance about the tank and they also love to sleep and snooze and have a good nap in the afternoon. They reward you for taking care of them by making you smile. They wag their tails and slap their fins around like a puppy when you come in the room. And if your lucky and good enough to take good care of them and give them the proper room, they grow into giants that swim around your tank like big air ships that poop digested pellets for snails to eat. I tell you, Fancy goldfish are bananas, b, a, n, a, n, a, s.
