Dither fish for arowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've read before that the rule of thumb is either 1 or 4 or more to spread out aggression. Would be expensive alright.

I've had two silver aro's over 2' each and they got on fine though

Another three asian aros will set me back 6-10k :(
Willing to do it if it works but if it doesn't im in deep s**t

will it be ok to do one asian and three silver aros ?

I have seen them mixed successfully before but they were in a tropical pond

Sent from my MT2L03 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

Yeah ive seen a few videos in ponds but aquarium is a completely different thing as you may know..He attacked the small silver dollars but his attacks on the other stopped completely...

Dats seem to know how to handle aro aggression and seem to get the aros attention too. In my tank the aro trys to bully the dats, but they act big and give him a quick smack if he is persistant. Usually no harm done (aside from the random missing scale from either)

A school of tinfoil would be way cheaper than 6k. Put some furniture or fake plants in there for the barbs to hide in. Maybe even try a school of guppies with some dense fake plants.

get a Datnoid :) It'll take attention of your flagtail :)
my aros like to fight with my datnoid and datnoids fight back :D
if you want to add more aros, 5-7 would be a good number to distribute aggression.
