I would sit infront of that thing for hours.

Is it tough to keep nitrates under control. How often do you perform water changes ?

I think your Faestae may eventually have to go. Once I added a Faestae to my Veija tank and was doing fine when he was the smallest fish. As the Faestae gained in size, he also gained in boldness and began chasing every fish in the tank. Veijas are passive aggressive and don't start fight. Faestae would pick fight and chase fish with no provocation.

Thats why i set up the tank. Watching them part of the hobby for me.
Stock is at the limit for the size of tank so water changes are essential. I do two times a week, 300 lt total water change. So nearly half size of the tank. I have 2 eheim 2080 canister, but them not enough if no water chance.

I agree for the regani, argentea and melanurus. Passive agressive yes. But not for the others for the moment. Especially for breidohri, zonatus and fenestratus. My festaes are being chasen by all the fishes in the tank.:) Lets see as they grow up. I ll keep in mind your advice.
