The first pics were taken today. If anybody has doubts boesemani stay nice when big I hate to crush your hopes. Mark has a mint boese that didn't get destroyed by males that's about 19-20" and it's incredible. Marbles look amazing richard as usual , beside the boesemani is a really nice marble you sent me 3 years ago.

I don't have many pics left from the boese when they were small but at smaller sizes those marbles rival boesemani no problem.
Talking about rivalries between Rays I've not been around for a bit here is a pic of one of the 18" whities . These rival any albino . They are healthier will live longer and are not genetic deformities . Just need to wait few years like p14 pups .
IS it even really fair to begin with to compare rays when one costs 6 TIMES as much as the other? To most of us mere mortals $ is a limiting factor.......
It's just like me saying SRT Neons > Hellcats. Is one actually better/nicer then the other? Maybe. IS it impressive that a vehicle that costs a fraction of the other can outperform it? Bet your azz it is.
I'd easily pick 5-6 of Richards Marbles over any single Boesemani any day.
To me a Marble of Richards is VERY unique. Nothing like it. Yet to me a Boesemani looks like a black/brown hybrid.
Maybe its cause I've never had the pleasure of seeing them in the flesh, though I really hope to some day.

Back to your question regarding "show me a better adult Marble than the Boesemani" I believe I have the perfect answer in the two pics I'm about to attach. This girl is from a breeding I did approx 7 years ago, she is fully grown at 19" disc, I will leave it to other members on here to decide which "they" prefer. I know of the one Mark has, he bought it off a lad in Cornwall right here in the UK, its the nicest specimen I have seen, there was a time when I seriously thought of buying it but simply couldn't justify paying the asking price when I have this collection of Marbles.
Boesemani are very difficult to get hold of still so the price will remain high for a very longtime I'm sure.
Anyway here are two pics for you or anyone that is interested .
