All are beautiful specimens but in the end it comes down to personal preference when you are basing it on looks. Just like a woman!

This was mine at about 18" before I let my males destroy her. It was only few days too is all it took. Rookie mistake with black Rays. Just because they start trying to breed doesn't mean they are mature. They tore apart females a few times like that and did never get them pregnant.
Actually that was right around the time the males tore her pattern off I can see the sides in this pic about 2" up on each side. My stupid Henlei was grabbing her up on the body and after a night there was bone showing .i never thought they would go that crazy but they do.
And your marbles are also special . Ive only ever seen a guy in China who had some as crazy as yours. Is it possible you sent them
I have to say that's a better angle of her Matt, she looks gorgeous!
Please don't get me wrong, if I had unlimited space I would love a pair of Boesemani, there is something in all of us that wants something that's either hard to get or impossible...human nature I suppose, people like us with so many nice rays should be satisfied, trouble is we never are.
I agree totally with you on the black rays, blimey they are aggressive lovers, they constantly harass the females, gravid or not, having said that my Henlei are much steadier.
I think you should show the world more pics of those sp Xingu, now that's a ray that really gets the cogs turning in my head......absolutely amazing rays........I need a bigger fish house.....oooops!! there I go again!

IMO, that pic^^^ if the bosemani is a really hard piece to beat. It cant be compared to others not only because of its rarity...but because it is so different. Absolutely stunning girl!

There is a whole different appreciation for something you created yourself from your own hard work, time and dedication it means way more. Good job and those marbles are insane!
