My LFS has just been given a few monsters I've been offered a spotted gar and a decent sized bay snook but I'm still in two minds even though I've got a bit more tank space still think the jar will smash them up (gars the same size as jar :confused:)

The jardini ate 3 small crickets and a good sized mealworm. The spotted gar has some decent armor.... it might make it! haha good luck

Gut load your mealworms with pellets mate that's what I did , decent armor is one thing jardini proof is another lol I've just got to monitor it as much as I can if it gets messy split them up quickly , didn't pick them up today as I'm away for the weekend so won't be here when it explodes , my guess is day three if I have to split them :D

Thank goodness for Dropcam!!! Figured I would put a few smaller normal silver arowanas in with my snow aro so he would feel more at home. Holy crap!!! The 3 smaller aros almost murdered my snow!!! Was trying to show the difference in color between them as well.. thank god I was watching the interaction with my dropcam at home and was able to take the 3 smaller ones out before some serious stress/injury happened.

I guess that super bright color doesnt make him tougher at the same time.
