Looks great, I have the same footprint and love the length to width ratio.

Do you have a build thread for the reactor? Im toying with the idea of adding one to my sump.

Great tank.
How do you recharge all that purigen?

Just pitched the jar but I think it was 500ml of purigen in the reactor. I used about half this in a previous set up. I take a large filter sock, dump the purigen into it, stick a hose in it and then tie the bag off. I put the bag in a slightly larger bucket (I use a 3 gallon) put a small pump on the other end of the hose and put a gallon of bleach and a gallon of water - pump circulates the bleach water like a bubbler. Works pretty well.

I started with a simple reactor from Geos Reef, added fine pads on either end that keep the Purigen in really well. Found this works better than a sack. I can post a few more pics of different stages. I started with a larger Eheim pump that was too strong (I'm partial to Eheim stuff generally). Ended up with a used freebie from the local hydroponics place - it's rated at 210 but I use a ball valve to throttle it back a little.

Pretty cool

I've got the egg crate up. Plan to move my pbass in tomorrow. Also have added 2 of three AI Hydra lights. Third should be here next week. Still with otb settings. The first two during a "storm" and then one after. The graininess in the photo is from the air that I have pumping through the bulk head.image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

So my smallest dat kept getting past the egg crate. I trimmed a thin vinyl mat that I picked up at Home Depot, punched a few holes in three strips and secured the sides and top. All seems good now and the bass is behaving nicely. These pics were right after the move and he was pretty stressed. Too big for even my trout net. Should have weighed him.image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
