I want to make something like blue bonded filter pads. Or really anything similar to what a dry sponge feels like, you know? Dont worry what it will be used for yet. First pic is blue bonded filter pad. When it gets wet is it just like a sponge or does it remain kind of rigid as it seen in the picture? What is the best alternative? What I am looking for is something similar to that rough side of the sponge but only thicker in quantity

Don't know exactly what your aim is but, I use stacked floor stripper pads in my large filters and reactors. I like their porosity and rigidity.

You are very wise and I think from one of your earlier messages on my posts/thread (w/e its called) you might have an idea of what I want to do lolz
I am young and cheap though so I try and find easy alternates
I simply say "dont worry what Im doing" cause I dont want any discouraging flack
I like to try and fail myself, I learn more
Ill spill later if you dont figure it out, and this way I can get direct info

same concept with bonded filter pads I just wanted to try something more like reticulate foam filter you know what I mean? But to be honest it probably wont be too different and not worth the hassel, i might ditch it
I use bonded in my 10g ug
