I would get pics in the tank, but my lights just went off for the evening. But yes, Mastacembelus dayi.

M. armatus, M. favus, and M. dayi cause a lot of confusion with most people. Armatus and favus both have "chain link" patterns, but armatus only has the pattern on the upper 2/3 of the body, and M. dayi have spots, but it gets more confusing with specimens of the first two species that happen to have irregular patterns. There are also slight size differences, with M. armatus reaching 30-36", M. favus 24-30", and M. dayi apparently only up to 24".
