Some of the fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
he doesn't touch them, I know its strange. he eats literally everything except them haha. He even ate half of a creek chub that died in the tank last week, and it was bigger than him. the crays though...he just leaves be. Probably to much work to dig them up from under the wood and rocks when theres always plenty of free eats hahaha.

There is a little bullhead in there haha about 3 or 4 inches I think they're stunted at the river too like the sunfish since I've never seen one bigger than 7-8" in the river but we pulled a 12-13" out of a little pond. There's also a super mellow bluegill and 2 crazy green sunfish x pumpkinseed hybrids that go back and forth being the top shot in the tank. That DIY cave was originally like a 6' long piece that someone threw down by the railroad tracks so I went and cut a 2' section off with a hacksaw (and some other heavy force lol) then I spent like 5 freaking hours siliconing rocks to it.

Also the red background is my wall haha I've thought about putting a black background on the tank but idk how it'd look.

Before I put the wood in crawdads wouldn't last over night and last night I thought I'd go get some at the river to see if they'd be able to hide better under it. That's still an experiment in progress lol. But they can't even eat some of the crawdads I brought home but they'd be dead and torn up in the morning.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg That's all 4 of the members that decided to skip the photoshoot last night lol. image.jpg This was the biggest bullhead I've ever seen around here by far he died in January :( image.jpg I made a cool blue led light for at night but I don't use it much anymore since he died.image.jpg This is the biggest crawdad I've ever found in the river (maybe they're stunted too lol) but I put him in a tank with other crawdads and small fish so he's the king in there, the tank full of crawdads and small fish is actually really cool I just drop a bit of trout in there and if the crawdads are really hungry they'll all come and just rip parts of the trout off and go eat it in their caves. Even the skin is gone within 3-4 days. image.jpg This is a crawdad from a different river and this one and the one from above have a turf war going on but the guy in the first picture recently molted so it's not real fair right now lol.
