Please ID this pleco for me.

kinda look more like L260
 
Either way looks like a nice fish and will be buying some tomorrow. After looking at the pics of an l260 they do look very similar.
 
After doing some research there is a bit of a size difference between the l260 and the l333. Do you think an l260 would do ok with large american cichlids or not? My bristlenoses seem to do fine.
 
depend on what kind of bristlenose but if it is a more common size bristlenose(125mm size) and it is doing fine with those cichlids then L333 and L260 would be fine for most of the time, still depend on luck to not get kill.
And why not go for some larger species like L240 or L114? i think they will do very good because of their size and they can eat similar variety of meaty/high protein food.
 
If I could find L240 or L114 in Aus I definitely would be getting one. Our choice of pleco's over here isn't that great and pay an arm and a leg for the rare ones. My local pet shop sells L333 for $85 each at 3cm. I was going to have to drive 350km to get the l333 in the pic.
 
Definitely an L333, I have many with that pattern. The L260 is the Queen Arabesque and has much finer lines. In person there's no doubt between the two.
