Can a half moon betta survive in a 29g

Yeah until he out grows it, although I obviously don't actually have the bichir in hand
 
It's okay. It's either the 29 or the maybe gallon and a half bowl I have
 
Until I can get my goldfish out of the 5 gallon and get it recleaned....anyone need goldfish?

Do you think it'll get lost in the vastness of an enormous volume of water of a 29 gallon aquarium? Lol

Bettas, in nature, are from water systems that can be in the millions of gallons.
 
29 gallon is fine for Bettas. I've also got the itch to get another Betta (used to have several). Although mine will go in a 55 with 2 Penguin 350 hobs so I think I'll get a nice halfmoon plakat.
 
He's in a 5 now, gonna get some plants and a small little pump and sponge filter
