New fish store in NJ. Great place!!!

The Swamps of Central Jersey
Charney Charney was nice enough to let me know about a new shop that opened up 3 miles from me, so I decided to check it out. The place is called "Coral Sea Fish and Pets" and it is in Somerville NJ on Gaston ave. It is a very small place but when you go in, every tank is spotless. Water is crystal clear. He does water changes once a week no questions asked. We talked for a good 20 mins. He is very knowledgeable and wont steer you the wrong way when asking about compatible species etc. He also gets whatever fish you need. He gets his shipments twice a week. I will need red belly piranhas in a few months and he said no problem. He has some fresh water and saltwater tanks. He also has a small reptile room with snakes/bearded dragons/ and some other lizards. He can also custom order tanks stands as well. He was very friendly. I got a little excited when I saw the title but it appears that this place might be at least an hour's drive from me...No offense to north Jersey but we sure can use a few more good shops in the South Jersey area.

There is virtually nothing south of me, that I'm aware of anyway. Other than Asia, north Jersey seems to be ground zero for the aquarium trade.

All there is that I know of is Aquarium Center in Clemonton.It is a pretty decent shop.
 
He can prob get whatever you want and send pics/ then ship K krichardson

I also forgot to mention. He runs UV on all the tanks and R0 water in all tanks.

I just want you to be aware if you are going to drive the hour. The place is really really small. He doesnt have a big selection in store. What makes it a great place is how he does keep his tanks and he seems to be able to get whatever you want.
 
Mike glad you like the place. It is literally a three block walk for me. Next time you are there let me know. Anyone local please to support this place. It is a great Mom and Pop lfs that has a lot to offer and can help you in ways the big box stores cannot.
Mike who where you speaking with? The father or one of his sons?
