All we wanted was a pizza. My wife saw this kitten in the parking lot and melted when it came to play with her from the other side of the door. When our pizza was ready for carry-out, she asked me to go check on the kitten. I found it behind the restaurant's hedges drinking dripping condensate from the A/C. He was thin. So thin you could feel every sharp bone. But, he was friendly and purred constantly. My wife came out, with the pizza box, and said we couldn't just leave the kitten in the drive-thru area. So he came home.
Next day, my wife took him to the vet where he received a bath, cleared of ear mites, wormed, and got his 1st batch of inoculations. $300 later, I figured out we had ourselves a new cat.
It's just as well. He seems to prefer me and constantly needs to be close. *sigh* Can't fight it sometimes.

His name is Brumeux (french for 'foggy')
