oh great, whatever is a decent pump for a 120 gallon tank. i think it would be easier if the return on the pump was dual if they make those that is, so i wouldn't have to tee the returns. whats your opinion?
shoot for a pump that will turn your tank volume over 8-10 times per hours. So, 120 gallons times 8-10 is 960-1200 gallons per hour. I like Laguna Max-flo pumps. You could get 2 Max-Flo 600's, or a Max-Flo 960, or a Max-Flo 1350. http://www.lagunaponds.com/en_us/pumps/waterfall-filter

If you decide to use one pump, better to use a 'Y' connector instead of a 'T'. You will lose a bit of gph from the pump using the 'T' connector.
