Was hoping for a red tiger mota but I'm thinking it might be a parachromis friedrichsthalii. it has no color at all. the past RTMs I've owned had color at that same size both males and females. I'm trying to breed RTMs already got a big male and growing out a female and i wanted to get an extra female as a back up so i got this one which was sold as a female RTM

You got me on this one....they seem like rtms and in looking at many I see some that look different but are still rtm....as often the case maybe more growout time is needed....they look like they got some nice potential......

It looks like a RTM to me. I've kept both and I think the RTM will show more color soon.
